Kieren brings 16 years of real estate experience to HOME, along with a genuine passion for people, property, and the coastal communities he proudly calls home. Having worked with some of the country’s major real estate brands before co-founding HOME Christchurch with business partner Eddie Spry in 2020, Kieren has built a reputation as one of Christchurch’s most trusted and accomplished real estate professionals.

Raised in North New Brighton, Kieren’s connection to the coast runs deep. He attended Shirley Boys’ High School, was involved in Surf Life Saving, and has spent much of his life in and around the water. After a short time living in Australia, he returned to Christchurch to put down roots, start a family with his wife Mel, and continue building a life in the place that has always felt like home. More recently, Kieren and Mel have spent the past year creating their own dream HOME in Moncks Bay – giving him first-hand experience of the excitement, decisions, pressure, and pride that come with the property journey.

That personal experience, combined with nearly two decades in the industry, means Kieren has genuinely lived and worked through every side of the property market. From buying, selling, building, negotiating, and guiding clients through major life decisions, he understands just how important it is to get the process right. For Kieren, the perfect transaction is when the right buyer and the right vendor meet at the right moment – and when both sides walk away feeling the result was exactly what they needed.

Known for his refined marketing approach, strong negotiation skills, and transparent communication, Kieren brings energy, honesty, and care to every campaign. His clients consistently praise his ability to make the process feel clear and well-managed, while always working hard behind the scenes to achieve the very best outcome. Outside of real estate, Kieren is a devoted family man who loves spending time with Mel, their daughters Alaska, Sienna and Lillie, and their much-loved pugs, Honey and Sage. He’s happiest when he’s by the coast, travelling with family, or out in the surf with his dad waiting for the next wave.

Eddie Spry brings a rare mix of experience, energy, strategy, and genuine care to HOME. As co-founder of HOME Christchurch, Eddie has helped shape a real estate brand built on connection, honesty, and a more relaxed, family-focused approach to what people often expect from the industry.

Born in England before his family moved to the North Island, Eddie eventually made Christchurch home nearly 15 years ago — and quickly fell in love with the atmosphere, lifestyle, and strong sense of community found throughout the coastal suburbs. Having purchased his first home at just 18, Eddie understood from an early age the value, pressure, and pride that comes with property ownership.

When he first stepped into real estate, Eddie worked seven days a week, doing the hard slog and learning the industry from the ground up within a major real estate brand. During those early years, he dreamt of one day creating something different — a company that moved away from the traditional idea of real estate and instead felt more approachable, honest, genuine, and connected to the people it served.

That vision became HOME Christchurch, which Eddie co-founded with Kieren Gray in 2020. Today, he works, lives, and raises his family in Redcliffs alongside his partner Lauren, their daughter Lexi, and his trusty sidekick Kevin. Living locally has only strengthened his connection to the community, giving him a deep appreciation not just for the people who call these suburbs home, but for the coastal lifestyle we are so lucky to enjoy.

With extensive experience across sales, auctioneering, negotiation, and business ownership, Eddie knows the real estate world inside and out. He is strategic, sharp-thinking, and quick to act, but always grounded by a calm, confident approach. Whether he is helping buyers secure their dream HOME or guiding sellers through one of life’s biggest decisions, Eddie brings clarity, care, and a steady hand to the process.

Outside of real estate, Eddie is all about living life to the fullest. Whether he is skateboarding, tackling a downhill trail, spending time with friends, or meeting new people in the community, he thrives on good energy and strong connections. At the centre of it all is Lauren and Lexi, who keep him grounded and inspired.

Eddie is also proud to support The Little Miracles Trust, a cause close to his heart, providing free services for the whānau of premature and sick babies in neonatal care. His favourite saying is, “Living your best life is your most important journey” — and it reflects the way he works, the way he lives, and the way he helps others find their place to call HOME.
